Midnite Panda is an up and comer out of Atlanta that I want to take a moment to mention. He does an incredibly good job of mixing together dubstep and hip-hop in a rather unique way. The approach he is taking to the EDM scene is somewhat similar to what I see in Wick-It the Instigator, yet the methodology behind the concept is completely different. The idea of mixing together dubstep and hip-hop has realistically been around for a while, but what hasn’t been around is the way Midnite Panda is doing it. His latest mix, simply called “CrunkSteP” is what caught my eye in particular, and I think you’ll agree after a listen. Enjoy!
